How do you use Google search??

Google is ubiquitous. I still remember the day when I first searched on Google. It was in it's infancy and what grabbed my attention was it's simplicity and faster search results. Before Google, I was engaged with Altavista. Altavista had that huge directory like yellow/brownish interface and It was quite an overwhelming for starter where to start and search. Today, when we mean searching something online, Google has become the standard for searching. Though it looks so simple and vulnerable, overtime, it has grown to become as huge as 'kragen', it's tentacles have reached to that extent that to reach there, We've to furnish our searching skill even more.

I still consider myself not an advanced searcher but I don't hesitate calling myself beyond the normal searcher.

I've seen people searching on google with simple keywords. Most of young people search internet for music and if they want some bands mp3 to download, what they do typically is
for ex: "rolling stones mp3 download" and hit Search on google.

If you want to find biography of some great legendary figure, normally, they just enter something like "Elvis Presley Biography" and search.

There are many examples of simple search keywords which people use.

I'm not telling that this is not a proper way of searching but definitely It's not a smart way to search. Somehow you may get to the page you've searched for but after investing your precious times. Smart searching reduces the time taken and I'm going to tell what I know about google searching.

When I came here in USA, my usual search was like this:

"1 gallon in litre"(without quotes) and hit Search button on google.

My father's car gulped 13 gallon at one go and being Nepalese,
I calculated it again as
"13 gallons in litre"(without quotes) and hit search button on google.

Similarly, people were using pounds here as for measuring weights. For starter, if they want to know, try this:
"1 pound in kilogram"(without quotes) and hit search button on google.
I weighed 74 kilograms and to find my pound value, I typed:
"74 kilograms in pound"(without quotes) and hit search button on google.

How about some mile conversion to kilometers? Starter can use this way:
"1 mile in kilometer"(without quotes) and hit search button on google.

One day, we drove to San Francisco and my father told me it is some 200 miles far from our place. So, I typed on google how many kilometers we traveled:
"200 miles in kilometer"(without quotes) and hit search button on google.

That's it and google gave me all answers at just one go. I think these are the things we learned in school but you should try it in Google. I call it smart search and If you are wondering what is this all about, it's google's Calculator. And, hey if you want to customize such conversions with your own units, DID YOU NOTICE that 'IN' like "1 pound in kilogram". So, don't miss that IN and you'll get mathematical conversion easily.

In addition to that, if you know this following mathematical operator as:
+
-
*
/

then, you can get calculation easily too. for eg:
4*4 and hit search button on google. Try some more using above operators. Wow, it's google's calculater. I bet most of you didn't know this before.

If you know trigonometry, you can use it get the result for some complex formula. Since I'm not so well versed in trigonometry, I dare not describe that here.

Okay, Now, I'll tell you how to effectively search some practical things online. When you search online, don't get easily disappointed with the results. It's because of the keywords you searched for. So, just even a simple word or letter counts while searching.

I was searching for a picture of Moon which my father showed me in real life. The only thing I knew about the picture is that it's taken from Alaska and that's how it looked from Alaska. At first, I didn't believe but I tried following keywords,
"moon view from Alaska"(without keywords) and clicked the Images tab on Google's search engine. All I found were regular normal sized moon pictures. Pronto, I started playing with different keywords like:
"moon from Alaska"(without quotes) on Image search and I saw queer thumbnail of the same moon photo on first result of the page.
I removed the search keyword 'view' from above because, 'View' as a search keyword is very common word and to narrow my search and to get precise result, I removed that and I got my expected result at one go. Basically, when we search online, we've to take care of these things and remove unnecessary common words from the keywords apart from the one we're searching for. I couldn't delete 'moon' because, that's what I was searching for and I could've included 'moon picture from Alaska' or 'moon photo from alaska' but as I wrote earlier, 'Photo' and 'picture' they were again so common words not good for precise and quick result.

I quickly used the same keywords("moon from alaska") to find some information on WEB(not image). Well, there wasn't any relevant informations on it. I again played with keywords, used little bit of common sense( I knew Alaska is somewhere near North Pole) and this time I entered:
"moon from North pole"
Voila, there was the first page which had the exact information I was looking for. That's How I did, Ametya Ji.

Now, to get little on advance level, if you are searching some information from a particlue site, remember this keyword:

"site:"(without keywords)

suppose I want so search some informations from my own blog, like about games. so my keyword would be:

"game site:meroguff.com"(without quotes) and hit the search button on google.

That's it, you'll get all the results only from meroguff.com highlighting the searched phrase or keyword 'game'. Just remember this ,"site:"(without quotes) keyword to use. You could ask me why not go to site itself and use it's search bar, it's again same thing, being smart. You could choose long cut or short cut. I like short cut. If you are wondering how google knows all about my/your blogs and sites, because, google's search spiders crawl your sites and blogs all the time at definite period of time. And, they've records or snapshots of your site's data. You don't believe me?? here's how:

use this following keywords:
cache:www.somedeadsites.com

what this "cache:" does is that It keeps the snapshots of websites periodically. If you see some sites dead or not opening recently, just use "cache:www.somedeadsite.com" and you shall see that site still opening. But these days, google seems keeping records of only 3 days old records.

Now, to search or get definition of some keywords, you may want to use search keywords followed by a word called "define".
It's just like asking search genie your questions:
Try this:
"define love"(without quotes) and hit search button on google.
You could just use 'love' as your search keyword but the results would be vague again, as I wrote before. If some keywords are popular enough, you don't need to worry about because, most of the online encyclopedias like wikipedia would store them on their database.
Search this:
"Prashant Tamang"(without quotes) and hit search buttong on google.

What do you see is the first result stored by wikipedia. So, normally, if you are seeking for some information which are quite popular would be stored by sites like wikipedia but what if the search keywords are not that popular. You still can force it to search if it's there in Wiki or not just by using following keywords:
"keywords" +wiki

Did you notice "+wiki"?? that plus sign will tell google to include sites with 'wiki' word.

From above example, if you don't want to see information from wiki but from some other sites, use the following keywords:
"Prashant Tamang -wiki"(without quotes) and hit search button on google.

So, this '+' and '-' here are not mathematical operators but are used to include or omit the search results relevant to those searched keywords.

Eg: Apple (search for keyword 'apple' on google). What do you see? it's just Apple computers official site at first link, right?

Now, try this

"Apple +fruit -computer"(without quotes) and hit search button on google

This will only show the result relating to fruit but omitting all the results which are related to computers. So, this is smart search, I call. You could use and try that '+' and '-' for other different purpose. Just try it.

Now more advanced and somewhat unethical searching. It's like Get what you want. Are you searching for some ebooks online??
For example, if I'm in need of some ebooks based on visual basic, I would use following keywords.

intitle:"index of" "visual basic" ebook

intitle:"index of" - will fetch the sites with the title 'index of' and why we are using this because, most of the web sites are structured that way. Index will show the directory contents most of the time. So, this intitle:"index of" will give you the precise results for downloads of anything. Here you could use the title of the book most of the time, or you can try with authors name too. Just try and experiment.

And, to search music:

intitle:"index of music" "elvis presley"
or
intitle:"index of mp3" "elvis presley"
or
intitle:"index of music" "elvis presley" mp3

Don't use some thing like "elvis presley song" etc. Just narrow your site and you'll get what you want shortly.

I don't know if I should be writing this following keywords or not, but, I'm just letting you know these things are the black art of searching things online. If you are searching for some softwares, use following keywords

"(Name of the software) +softwarez +blog"(without quotes) and hit enter on search button of google

These are the keywords, I just discovered myself and I'm not telling anything more than that :)

Hope you had wonderful learning
and thanks for reading.
If you've any questions, let me know :)

Do you like rainy season?

Past few days, It's been raining here. And, it's just raining. I don't like rainy seasons I dunno why but whoever I asked, I've never met someone who has said he/she doesn't like rain. May be I'm the only guy who doesn't like rain.

It hailed sometimes .. bad weather, I don't like it(view from my place)

But, today, it did stop for few hours. After a tiresome trip to San hose and back to home, I took my usual evening walk and roamed around the Wharf. I saw Sea Otter floating on the water trying to break some sort of shell,may be for it's dinner which it might have picked from the surface below the sea.
And, a Sea bird trying to steal it's prey, that was awesome and I managed to capture it in my camera. Hope you guys like it. That's how I spent weekend today. Back to home rushing, it was drizzling and now, by the time I'm writing this post, it's hell of a rain outside. Damn!! I hate rains.
Bunch of Sea Lions at the Wharf, taking rest lying their neck to eachother's body

Hope you didn't get bored with my rambling.

The Legend of the PINK LADY aka the Umbrella Man in Santa Cruz

The very first time, I came here in Santa Cruz,CA few months ago, I did notice one very eccentric person slowly walking in downtown,pacific avenue back and forth. He's walking just inch by inch and anyone would guess that to cover 100 meter distance, It would take whole day for him. When I first saw him/her, I couldn't figure out if He is He or She but later I was told it's HE who always dresses up in Pink colored clothing. He's therefore called the Pink Lady. Since, there is a pink umbrella with him all the time, he's also known as Pink Umbrella Man of Santa Cruz. I didn't care much before because I thought he was just another Whacko. But around a week ago, I saw a cartoon published on local news paper on him and I was thinking 'wow, he's on newspaper and people makes money by drawing his cartoon, wow'. ...

Just a few days ago, I walked with my friend to downtown and suddenly the Pink Lady became our topic of discussion. From her, I came to know that he's quite famous in Santa Cruz. I was calling him weirdo and not paying much respect, but my friend was talking about his real identity and so. She wasn't so clear about him either. But, whatever she told me, I was compelled to change my view towards him.

Once, I tried to observe him carefully and attempted to talk with him but he awkwardly kept smiling. That really made me feel bad and may be that was the reason which caused me to have no respect to him.

Oh, then, I came back to home, I asked my father, My aunt about that guy and didn't get quite a satisfactory answers. They've lived her for years and they didn't know the things about here much. So, a blink of light and next I was sitting in front of my computer searching on him.

Gosh, there is a rumor about this guy, some say he's Teacher at UCSC, some say he's former millionaire and some even say he's an electrical engineer. I always wondered who he is, where he comes from, I really don't know. But some other neighbor told me that they saw him shopping once and so. One blog though, wrote about him as , "Umbrella Man", a former NASA electrical engineer whose real name is Robert Steffen, has been a downtown fixture in Santa Cruz for years."

Whatever, he's actually become an icon of Santa Cruz. So, anyone who knows Santa Cruz will tell a word or two about this PINK LADY aka The pink Umbrella Man.

Extra-ordinary moon from North Pole

Today, I was having a little chit-chat with my father and unconditionally he showed me one photo. The photo was like from some dreamland. I couldn't believe it. He told me that, that was how Moon looks from north pole. Upon asking more, he told me that his friend gave him the photo and he collected it as souvenir. I just couldn't believe. Because, I felt, if moon came that near to earth, then only God knows what would happen next. I've never ever seen the moon of that size and I've never been taught that moon would look that big from some part of the earth.

I searched on Internet and I found the exact photo(which is below). We all know that in North Pole, there sun never sets for whole 6 months. And, I found people writing that the following picture has been taken during the month of June in North Pole, where sun is getting ready to go down. And, that Magnificent view of Moon was captured. That was their views. Quite convincing!!

This is how moon looks from north pole during the month of June. Sun just setting below Moon..(click image for larger view)

But, somehow I managed to find that It wasn't real. Because, I spent few more minutes searching on Google out of disbelief and I got the real answer hidden deep within.

Snopes.com has revealed the real truth behind this mysterious photo and the creator of this magnificent digital image is Inga Neilson, a german student. If you go and check his site, you'll find his other creations similar like this.

He was using Terragen(Terragen™ is capable of photorealistic results for professional landscape visualisation, special effects, art and recreation.),a computer software which can generate real lifelike digital terrain images.

I've used Terragen before and it's wonderful free software. You can grab the idea how to work with it within few minutes and start creating your own wonderful dreamlands. Followings are my Terragen images which I did few months ago. Not impressive but I tried.

I announce my New Blog www.technewsnepal.com

Past few days, I was busy as dog to start my new blog. Actually, the domain name www.technewsnepal.com was bought around a year ago and since then, I just experimented with it with nothing useful to tell about. I was actively participating in this blog of mine(meroguff) and still I am. Now on, I'll be maintaining two blogs at a time.

Meroguff will be more focused on everything related to tech,fun,reviews,gossips and so, whereas www.technewsnepal.com will be strictly and strictly related to tech only and I'm glad to see that within a week of working on it, I'm getting lots of visitors. I didn't even promote my blog at all and visitors are already flocking in. I submitted my blog to one blog network site today and it's waiting for approval. I'll do this in coming days with other network sites too and I'm sure, www.technewsnepal.com will draw the attention of many.

..my visitor stat,today

The major difference between Meroguff and technewsnepal.com would be the engine they are using. Meroguff is totally based upon blogger engine whereas technewsnepal.com is proudly running on latest wordpress 2.3.2

One more thing, I should take a note of, is that technewsnepal.com would be independently running off it's own server. I've managed to load videos(good bye YouTube) from my own server and even managed to load shoutbox script from my own server. So, everything and everything will be running there using my paid server's resources. I'm glad I did that.
Previously, I had some favorite videos on YouTube and somebody deleted the video, at that time, I felt that I should've downloaded the videos and stored somewhere on my box. So, I learned that and I've installed a YouTube Video downloader script on my own server. Now, no worries, I'll get whatever YouTube videos that I like, download it and upload it to my own server instead of linking it with YouTube's server.

So, this is my new blog, www.technewsnepal.com
Hope you'll like my new baby :)

How to recover data from your computer

Ramola's computer was working fine yesterday. But this morning, her computer stopped working. What she saw on her computer screen was just dark blank screen. Nothing, not even a BIOS details. What could've gone wrong? She called his friend Kevin, who's bit techie. He visited her leaving all his work. He checked her PC and finally told her, her motherboard's capacitor is dead. She was worried about her data on her harddrive which were more important to her. She wanted them at any cost. Kevin took out her harddrive which fortunately was working, Kevin backed up all the data off the harddrive,burnt it into some optical medias. He even changed her new motherboard and luckily same drive worked for her without hassles. Ramola had to pay some $100 dollars just for getting her data backed-up. But how did he do that?

I want to thank Jim Owens for providing me with his best selling ebook called 'How to recover data from harddrive' and thanks Jim for letting me distribute this ebook on behalf of my readers. I really appreciate his greatness.

This ebook has all details which any newbie could learn quickly. It's all step by step instructions with 90% photographs and 10% description. That's not boring right? It's extremely helpful to solve your computer problems easily.

Smart buyers buy at SAVEBUCKET

Hey, how much do you pay for any products in the market? Do you pay whatever it's labeled on products?? I've faced many awkward situations when I really wanted to buy something but didn't have enough money to spend on. Later, it's no where in the Market and while sitting on the couch one evening, I read news of low price sale of the same product. Moreover, (jeez), it's somewhere getting sold, not even in my nearest retail marketplace. You really gotta see my face at that time. My intention is not to presume that there are all people as unfortunate as me, however, if you are not seller, then the situation I've mentioned must have come through your life at one time. I bet on that.

With the advent of e-commerce technology, millions of people shop online. Many of them are paying just like the way, I've mentioned in above paragraph. Paying retail price. My focus is to let my readers know about how effective it would be if we get the same products at much much lower price without compromising on quality and feature.

Your key to smart buying is SAVEBUCKETS.CO.UK or you can just type SAVEBUCKETS.COM
It's same thing. When I write 'Smart buying' doesn't necessarily mean SAVEBUCKETS is selling things online. Nope, it's not selling anything, it's rather helping buyers like you and me to make an appropriate decisions and do smart shopping at lower price than of retails. SAVEBUCKETS.CO.UK brings all the companies,all the sellers at one place, it makes price comparisons and publishes the prices of product that we want to pay for. If you like one particular product, you've choices to make from which sellers you want to buy. There will be links to sellers, find your favorite seller and make your purchase online.

There are couple of things that I must not forget to mention. SAVEBUCKETS.CO.UK as a product comparison site has many exciting features. Two of them, which I liked most are:
My Price
Search Shops you know

My Price;
If you found something interesting product but don't have enough cash to shell out at that moment(which I faced many times before), 'My Price' allows you to stick to your budget when buying. Just enter your email address and the maximum amount you are prepared to pay against the product you've selected. They will then check the price of that product whenever a shop on their service(site) has changed the price and contact you by email when the price has reached or fallen beneath your maximum price with a link directly to that shop(seller).

This is lifesaver for buyers like me who don't have to face any awkward situations that I've mentioned in the early of this post. And, this 'MY PRICE' is always below the product of your interest to assist you. Isn't that cool?

MY PRICE

And, another feature is "Search Shops you know".
This is a search box on their very first main page of the site. There are two options; Search all shops and Search Shops you know.
Search Shops you know

I'm particularly interested on this 'Search Shops you know' because most of the buyers, instinctively follow only the shops which are popular, favorites of many, where considerable number of buyers flocks in and out regularly. And, 'Search Shops you know' will show only those shops which are most visited or where most online purchases are made. Besides, there is no harm dealing with other shops too because you can get great bargains from these shops as well..

Few days ago, accidentally my brother's Sony Mp3 player got crushed under the car's wheel. I was looking for a substitute and guess what, I found arrays of mp3 players listed on SAVEBUCKET.CO.UK. I've never seen such cheap and best offers. He's gonna choose one from these. Besides,these guys have linked to so many products of our interests, they are as follows :
* Baby Products
* Body Care & Cosmetics
* Books
* Cars & Motorbikes
* Clothing
* Communication
* Computer Hardware
* Computer Services
* Computer Software
* Consumer Electronics
* Electronic Games
* Food, Drink & Tobacco
* Games & Gadgets
* Gifts
* Health & Wellbeing
* Home & Garden
* Music
* Office & School
* Sport & Leisure
* Tickets & Events
* Travel
* Video & DVD

In addition to that, they've safety guides while buying online. You can find Guide to buying Safely Online here.

And, what they are saying, you can actually listen to this audio link below:

My consolidated views on Gaming History

Be it kid or old, everyone loves games. No matter how professional they are in their field or to which extent they pretend as mature or grown up, there is a kid always inside who become kid with their kids playing games. Do you remember playing Pacman or say Tetris for hours? What about Super Mario in Mushroom Land? These are my all time favorites which just run fine on my cellphone's game emulator, now. Just trying to recall how these wonderful games have been developed overtime.

I grew up playing mario on NES system then. Gradually, the 8 bit gaming changed to 16 bit ,to 32 bit and so. When I recall those days, it really makes me feel go back to that time and have fun again,whatever..

..In 1952, A.S. Douglas created the first graphical computer game. It was a version of Tic-Tac-Toe , programmed on the EDSAC vaccum-tube computer, which had a cathode ray tube dsiplay. It wasn't truly a computer game but William Higginbotham created what might have been the first vdeo game, in 1958. His game, called 'Tennis for Two', was created and played on a Brookhaven National Laboratory oscilloscope.

In 1972, the first commercial home game system was launched the Magnavox Odyssey, by Magnavox, in the US. Designed by Ralph Baer , the first commercial video game console that could be used in home, the Odyssey, was released by Magnavox in 1972.

The first arcade video game that used vector graphics instead of a raster diplay was Space Wars. The game was released in 1977.

In 1978, Atari Football became the first arcade game to use a track ball.

The first computer book to sell one million copies was 101 BASIC computer games. It was published in the US by Creative Computing in 1978.

The Mattel Intellivsion was released in 1980, and was the first 16-bit home game console.

On JUne 17, 1980, Atari's 'Asteroids' and 'Lunar Lander' were the first two video games to be registered in the copyright office.

Did you know 'Tetris' had sold over 40 million copies worldwide , since it began in 1982. That comes to $800 million in revenues!(gulp) yeap, that's true. Back then, it rocked. And, later the same game as the first software to be imported form the Soviet Union to the US was Tetris, developed in 1985 by Alexey Pazhitnov.

In 1981, Shigeru Miyamoto, guided by Gunpei Yokoi, made the first game for Nintendo starring Mario, which was previously the arcade game Donkey Kong. And, Mario, one of the best known video game characters, was named after Nintendo's landlord.

Listen to this cool Mario Theme song and be nostalgic.
Extraordinary performance by ZackKim

If you are wondering about the word Nintendo, then it is composed of three Japanese Kanji characters, Nin-ten-do. These character can be translated into "Heaven blesses hard work". Cool eah?? I bet you didn't know this before.

Gunpei Yokoi was the creator of the Game Boy and Virtual Boy. He worked on Famicom, the Metroid series, Game Boy Pocket and did extensive work on the system we know today as the Nintendo Entertainment System.

PacMan got its name from the Japanese word "pacu", meaning "to munch". Since "pacu" is pronounced the same same as "f... you", only with a 'p' sound, its name was changed to "pacman"

In 1988, Sega entered the video game market with Genesis, which was called MegaDrive in Japan. The console, with 16-bit processor, was the first to challenge Nintendo's monopoly.

Nintendo started its enterprise in 1889, when the great-grandfather of the current Nintendo president, Fulsajiro Yamauchi, founded Nintendo Koppai, which made special playng cards called Hanafunda ("flower cards").

Sega released Sonic the Hedfehog in 1991 as a direct response to Nintendo's super NES gaming system.

Microsoft's Flight Simulator became the best selling PC game of all time after its release in 1993.

The first 32-bit home video game system was the Panasonic 3DO released in 1993.

Sony released a matte black version of its Playstation in 1997, which enabled programmers to create their own video games in the C programming language. It was called Net Yaroze.

The Sega Dreamcast, released in 1999, was the first console game machine to sport a 128-bit architecture.

Did you know that an estimated 1 lakh copies of the playstation game Tiger Woods 99 were recalled after The Spirit of Christmas, a clip in which Jesus Christ and Santa Claus get into fistfight over the true meaning of Christmas was discovered in a hidden file on the CD-ROM? The recall was necessitated due to the fact that the clip was unauthorized and was full of expletives.

Playstation 2 hit the shelves in Japan on March 4, 2000 and sold 98000 units in four hours.

Rest we all know, Wii,PS3 and XBOX 360 live?? they are swirling in the market now. Time will tell us in coming days, which of these is the record breaker and all time favourite.

Ashop Commerce

People do pay the cost for owning a web host space/services/features and domain name. In addition to that, they are burdened with extra expenses for setting up their site,putting flesh and muscles to it. Believe it or not, the money they pay to some professionals to set the site up, it's exorbitantly much much more than they pay for owning the space and domain space. Some are adventurous enough trying to figure out things themselves and they try to setup online store for themselves. That's the invitation to the lots of troubles,time wastage,headaches,not properly working site interface, unprofessional look et cetera. Why am i writing all these?? Because, one can't deny the existence of online business. If you buy things from ebay and amazon, then you are already acquainted with the power of e-business. Do you think you can't make sites like one of them?? Do you think you'll have to spend thousands of dollars trying to learn how to setup online stores like that? Well, forget about all the troubles, it's passe.

You can now setup an online store without knowing any html or web programming. Any novice sellers and business entrepreneurs can setup their online store at ease without paying a penny to any middleman. but HOW?? The answer is ASHOP COMMERCE.

Ashop Commerce is a world-class provider of shopping cart software, internet programming and digital imaging who cater toward small to medium sized businesses that are looking to build or simply start their online division of business.

This shopping cart software is extremely easy to use and all you've to do is to work online and set things online. I've never found any ecommerce software like this so easy to work with. I'd also like to add that the 24/7 support team is excellent and one doesn't have to worry about anything. Their comprehensive knowledge base is extremely useful when someone comes across questions. If you are skeptical about how it would be after you pay the money, don't worry. Their free 10 days trial account is absolutely for people like you. One doesn't have to use credit card to get 10 days trial account. It's just sign up and you start working with. You'll realize that they really are worth of your money. So, it's up to you what to do next. If you want to try their service without signing up, you can select their LIVE DEMO pronto and feel how it's gonna be when you buy their service.

Thus, if you are thinking to setup your own business online, then this is the right time not to think but to purchase their service. Don't worry about domain name,web space, shopping cart software etc. Leave all these to them. They'll take care of it. The only thing for one to do is, just put their business and product informations. And the cost is perfectly feasible. Think of the money you would spend on middleman to set all things up for you when you purchase their plan. My verdict is i've never found shopping cart software so easy to setup/use and so affordable.

"The Web bot project " and the year 2012

Did you know that each word you type and save on your blogs or forums or discussion boards (wherever on Internet), you are contributing to shape the future. I,as a blogger, felt good that when I was enlightened with a wisdom that I'm at least helping to create prophecies. You too are contributing.

Be it Nostradamus or Einstein, they had always been foretelling future(based on their mathematics and calculation)that was far way beyond their times. It's still subject matter of controversy that things closely turned out as of their predictions. If you ask me, when I study their analysis to present context, It forces me to believe all those controversies, all those predictions, all those prophecies. Once I read some predictions of Nostradamus where he wrote somewhere about the demise of entire humankind but before that he'd written some of the things like humankind has to go through terrible phases like incurable disease, losing self-conscience, disaster, natural calamities etc. To my judgment, all these are happening. Global warming being the major issue. War among nations for petty reasons, rise of terrorist group whose intention is to destroy peace, unnatural Climatic change, turmoil all over the geography of the planet, these are not good omen.

Oops, I unintentionally diverted myself to different topic. I was writing about how we are contributing to build the prophecy of our time. It's all about Internet and the project started in the late 1990's to assist in making stock market predictions(pretty accurate), is now being used to predict the future of entire human civilization. It's well known as 'The Web Bot Project'. Believe it or not, according to them they predicted major events, few of them were 9/11 and Tsunamis. People didn't believe, they're still skeptical about this particular technology but now the same researchers involved on the same project are predicting some devastation outcome in 2012. This has created some sort of sensational vibes among the researchers and scientists. Even normal people like me are equally the part of this prediction and much concerned about their sayings.

According to aphroditeastrology, "The technology(web bot project) uses a system of spiders to crawl the Internet and search for keywords, much like a search engine does. When a keyword is located, the bot program takes a snapshot of the text preceding and following the keyword. This snapshot of text is sent to a central location where it is then filtered to define meaning. "

And, if you are interested to read, what are the predictions of Web Bot project, click here or to know something about the project and people behind it, click here. You will be forced to believe that it's working and even if you don't believe, we can think ourselves, where are we going? We shouldn't be just limited to our daily home chores, our own selfishness, our monthly salaries, luxuries,affairs etc. Lets think above it and lets think where are we heading towards. These are the things which I often ask myself and I don't find any answers. But when I come into some conclusion, well.. that's not good enough to write about. I don't want to emphasize on superficial thing, I'm just asking to use your own judgment.

Whatever, we're shaping future and precisely,contributing to predict/foresee the future, our very own future. I never knew the technology would do that but It's slowly drawing attention. May be yours too. If you knew about this, please share with me, even if you've never heard about this, lets learn and discuss.
