Why to opt for portable DVD player?

Everything is going portable. People has no time to stick around and do things limited only on their living place. The craze of portability is huge. Same trend is followed by DVD players too. It's portable DVD players. And, if you are my regular reader then you might still remember that many months ago, I wrote my personal words on this very blog about Portable DVD players but I was unaware of the online market place of portable dvd players where I could find best deals on hot portable DVD players.

Basically, a portable DVD player is very light-weight DVD player with LCD display attached to it. You must be pondering why would you need it? Because, you don't have to be in your home to watch your favorite DVD movies and music. If you are travelling a long journey and need a healthy time passing entertainment, then a portable DVD player is a must. With a pair of good head phone, you'll forget your tiring journey session since you would be enjoying movies on your portable DVD player.

If you see the first para of this post, I was writing about a marketplace. Yeah, I've found an online marketplace where I could literally read reviews first and then make decisions. The site will showcase you all the available best portable DVD players upon your visit on the site. One outstanding feature is that you could read the reviews made by purchasers and make yourself a decision what should you do next. This is one thing I'm crazy about online purchase. You can't get this opportunity while shopping in real life. Just buy and get back to home. If you don't like, go again, return it according to their return policy, sign papers, show bills.. oh gosh.. that's heck of a waste of a time. Why not read how people think about it and buy the choice of your portable DVD players.

Philips,Toshiba,Audiovox,Coby,Spectroniq, mustek,jWIN etc are just a few big brand names to mention involved into selling these products. So, quality is guaranteed. For your next vacation or long journey, plan for a portable dvd player.

Thank you for reading.

What Am I upto?

(You can skip this one post since it's unnecessary personal rant. But if you take it otherwise, you're most welcome)
These days, I'm getting so busy with the extremely joyful rampage of troubleshooting peoples computer problem in real life. The pleasure I get from the face of people getting happy for their solved problem is more than the orgasm for me. The orgasm that I've gotten within these few days back is hard to describe in words. I was unselfishly helping people online to solve their computer issues. I was deliberately writing tutorials on my blog posts for one single question asked for and to many extent, that's proved helpful to them and as well to me. My blog posts are sought after by many educational institutions since I've posted useful things(under FACTs and FIGURES category..oops LABEL) which are important for aspiring students who want to make themselves more familiar with computer and technology. I'm really satisfied with the results I'm getting when I read my site statistics. On top of that, these free tutorials and online consultations are paying me back.

That is a glorious smile most often I endure after I solve comp problems. You think I'm a Poser????ehehe.. am a poser, that's right.. lol

I started helping people out here, and I didn't notice that the job I'm doing is called as an Independently self-employed. I didn't mean to be like that but with what I did in past weeks, I'm pretty much proud of myself. This one month experience helped me to become more confident and approachable. As I wrote earlier, I finished major projects like troubleshooting peoples computer sorrows along with companies computer problem, setting up advanced networks which means going from LAN to WAN server administration, that was challenge to me and I finished that too(Took time but I did finish it). I taught how to blog and how to install/handle wordpress engine to my student, how web hosting companies work? etc. I designed a business website. I troubleshoot computer problems remotely. I accessed others system and remotely solved all their headaches. Some good guy showed up and I help them with their document conversion. And, so many other stuffs I just couldn't remember now. These are the jobs that I did from my heart. I didn't learn any of these and I didn't take any formal training. But How did I learn to do these jobs,.. now, I'm sitting and contemplating myself, I think it's passion, passion about being in Love with the Technology, that's what made me do all these things(that doesn't mean I don't want to study and be involved in formal training sessions). One man whom I told about this thing, he thinks I'm extra-ordinarily intelligent which I consider is a wrong judgment(that doesn't mean I'm disrespecting his thought). What he didn't see is my passion? But whatever, the same man offered me a job and I happily accepted. The job would give me some references than working independently. So far, I managed to have two good references and If I managed to work for this man, I'll have 3 good references for my future dream job. I'm working on behalf of his financial institution and will be in training period for 2 months. I'm glad that I set up network on all his offices and with that he must have been impressed. Otherwise he would have selected one from some 24 candidates applied for that job.

I wish I could look back at the time just like this in the horizon meeting the boundaries of endless ocean, I wish

It's few days ago, when I went up to the hill of Sunnyvale North, Silicon Valley. There I entered Fry's Electronics domain, I was actually looking for a harddisk and just in jest, I applied for the job in tech crew and the supervisor took brief on-the-spot interview. He looked nowhere and fixed my interview date which was supposedly be held tomorrow at 12 noon. That's the good thing, I was so excited. The bad thing is it's almost 1 and half hour away from my place. I was geographically unsuitable for the job, either I had to move or take public transportation. That would've been hectic, since I would get tired of traveling that long back and forth. If I wouldn't have been offered a job here in Santa Cruz, I must have asked them for any relocation option. But whatever, I canceled my interview by informing them today. I said them, I would look forward to work there when I'll have my own vehicle. Sadly, I don't have any vehicle now since I'm still a new guy here and I think will take time to do things that I like.

More on next time and will be keeping in touch with you friends and visitors.

Thanks for reading till here.

"Your AdSense account needs verification.... message." - What does this message mean in Blogger Dashboard??

Few days ago, as I was checking my blogger dashboard, I got message like this below:

" Your AdSense account needs verification. Please check your email for the Google AdSense Verification message. "

That scared me for some possible threats like if my adsense account has been changed/accessed by someone or what? I was damn busy and couldn't think much at the moment but what I did was quickly logged into my adsense control panel and hastily started looking for some issues. I didn't find anything special but there was some PENDING messages under

Google Adsense Control panel --> My Account --> Account Access

I use adsense on my blogger blog and so I did click 'Grant Access' for blogger.com. To tell the truth, I did it this very morning. In fact, I thought that message would go eventually but it didn't and I changed the setting so as to give blogger.com an access to my Adsense Ads, and now its gone. Almost took 12 hours to get rid of that 'Adsense verification message' at the blogger dashboard.

Are you Dumb enough to give away your password and confidential data anywhere on net??

Passwords are your keys to your online closets. You don't want people to intrude into your closet and let them do the nastiest things that you've ever thought of.

Do you think, yeah THINK before you enter your credential data like username and password anywhere on the net? Are you not afraid of entering your credit card details on net to do online shopping?

If you are smart, you'll most probably think before you do the things that I've asked above.

Lemme show you the example. There is a guy and he has a msn account and he wants to check if his female friend is blocking him or not after his last argument with her. He goes to some site like this below:

http://rbscienceclb.10gbfreehost.com/block.html
(this site will take him to some genuine site. Here, this site will take you to Nepal Telecom's official site. DON'T EVER GIVE YOUR REAL USERNAME and PASSWORD but you can try with fake one. It's interesting, how these phishers work and steal peoples informations)

He'll supposedly enter his msn username and password and click submit. He thinks his job is done.

On the other hand, the eavesdropper will supposedly get his username and password from this link below(at the backend):
http://rbscienceclb.10gbfreehost.com/data.txt

Are you surprised to see the stuff you've just entered few moments ago right on this second link? umm,.. that's how these phishers work.

www.ntc.net.np(for this example, I'm not endorsing that company at all) is the official site of 'Nepal Telecom' company and it's one genuine site. Many Nepalese people visit that site and people have rare chance to disbelief it's credential. It's obvious many people would fall for this trick as soon as they see the TLD of this site on their browser's address bar, they usually end up entering their important informations. Don't do that, just roll your eyes to full line on the address bar? Do you see something out there, it's called PHP/SQL exploits where phisher is successful to fully violate the insecure system. So, even if the domain name is genuine, it's fake page generated dynamically with the help of java scripts(it looks like the page is the part of the genuine site, which is not). As soon as someone inputs the data on such phishing site, the things he entered will be dynamically saved on some remote servers file system. Phishers could access that data in later time with ease.

The first link is bit unconvincing. If phisher is smart enough, he could have the anchor text to be like as genuine(ex: ntc.net.net/msnblockcheck.html)one. And, nobody would ever find what's going on.

My suggestion is try to check the address bar before you give any important details online. Because, it's irrelevant and obscure to see such weird and long lines just on the Login page. After you login, it's the session and cookie handling takes place, which means, it's okie to see such lines after you signed in. But when you are trying to give something online and you see, such long weird lines at first, it's time to get ALARMED and BE SMART? You could actually ask the company for that particular stuff you are facing and make sure everything(your data) is safe beforehand.

Coming to my second question on second para of this post, I'd suggest you to create a PAYPAL account. I'm not endorsing this paypal thing but it could save lots of hassles. I see the Paypal as the next credit card for online shopping. If you are afraid of giving your long credit card details everytime you shop online, it's time to shift to PAYPAL(there are other alternatives too but I'm focusing on it). Sign up for PAYPAL, get verified by integrating your BANK account with PAYPAL's system and now, you can shop easily. Just give your PAYPAL ID(don't bother about giving your entire credit card details) and make purchases(PAYPAL is still not adopted by many online shops but it's ever expanding as another option to make payment). If you want to pay, use your PAYPAL ID. Easy as 1-2-3. One thing to remember, these big companies would never ever send any ALERT mails to you. They would most probably affix message if that's so important (instead of mailing you on your email address) on your account login page. Consider this and you'll be safe from all those phishing scam mails which claims they are originated from the genuine site itself, which is not.

Waiting for cheap Blu-rays

Those who can't wait and jump right over the new thing, in my case, to new technology tend to regret in later time for paying high while his/her neighbor getting same product after some waiting time for far more fair price.

But there are some zealous people who wants to take first triumph. If you ask me, I don't fall under this category but there are some rich geekiest souls who usually ride high on the wagon for buying latest technology first. They are already enjoying the latest bliss. But for people like me, us.. it's best to wait and get fair deals in later times.

BLU - RAY is a next generation sensational storage technology which recently won the war on tug of war against HD DVD.

We're on the verge of entering the Terabyte era for normal desktop use. ahh , Just out of old nostalgic moments, I still remember one saying of my teacher( i don't remember his name but I do remember what he said) that while we were proud enough to use P-II as the most prized computing possession, Research Institutes and Labs were using super computing power of today in 70's. He might be right but truly, these research labs are entertaining on massive computing power than we can imagine. We, desktop users, are just about to enter in Terabyte era(while it was already being used by such research labs in 70's) when portable blu -ray medias are buzzwords.

Even when Blu-ray media holds the massive amount of data than any portable conventional medias, it's no where to Terabyte era BUT, we're still so eager, because, it's so new for us. From 25 GB to 50 GB, blu-ray medias are believed to be in the scene for couple of years in coming days. Days of DVDs are numbered but we can't transfer our petty stuffs on such huge medias, sometimes, so CDs and DVDs will be used only for that purpose when a single Saved file would be over 2 GB. Imagine your Photoshop Image filesize above 1 GB, your game saves over 500 MBs,your presentation reports over 3 GB, ummm DVD will be there for these purpose as CDs are still sufficing our need for small file transfer(will write about USB flash drives in coming days). Everyday, new technology is being developed and sensational new products are coming in the scene. The technology supported by big tycoons, companies are seen as the survival of the fittest. Same thing happened with Blu-ray. Its adopted by many big companies and now, we've no other choice than to follow the crowd. Why not follow, after all, it has all good things we need. But it's
bit over priced for now.

Last time, I went to FRYS Electronics(this is the cheap and the best one stop marketplace for electronic shoppers) and there the Blu-ray movies are price-tagged somewhere around $45-$50. Ummmm. I felt quite cheaper than other cities. The Blu-Ray players are still hard to afford, at least for people like me.

Therefore, the rumors are ON. Waiting for sometime is going to bring some fortune for us. This overpriced Blu-Ray players and medias are going to drop their tags sooner than the fall of glaciers. I'm extremely eager to burn datas on blu-rays. But, for now I'll have to resort with 500 GB external(in fact I'm eager to use this external beast for my computers One Touch IMAGE backup) One Touch hard-drive from Maxtor in few days for all my backup needs. I'm heading to FRYS electronics to get this thing. Anyway, coming to the point, I don't know how movies will look on Blu-ray(must be pretty good) but writings about it are exciting me. Since Movie Industries are engulfing this as their standard storage media, nobody wants to wait long but do have to wait for sometime.

Wait for the days of 500 Movies in one Blu-Ray discs. Frankly tell me, how many movies you've seen packed in a DVD?? 2, 3, 4?? I've seen 20 movies packed in one dual layered DVD. So, that '500 movies in one blu-ray disc' are not the flaky words, guys..!!!

Thanks for reading this post.

Hacks and tricks to bypass Rapidshare download limitations work no more

I was sick and tired of Rapidshare download limits and it's nagging upload size limits. Rapidshare(acc to wiki) is a German owned one-click hosting pay and free-service(with limitations) website that operates from Switzerland and is financed by the Subscriptions of paying users. In simple term, Rapidshare is extremely extremely popular world's largest file-hosting site with millions of files stored on its servers.

I was downloading one of my favorite music off the net which was divided into 3 parts and as soon as I finished first part downloading, I was shown series of sentences informing the next upload is available in some next 98 minutes. This frustration has led many script kiddies to develop fake programs claiming they can break Rapidshare limitations and use it as premium paid users. If you come across such sites, never download such programs which claim that you could download stuffs off the rapidshare servers just like a paid user.

Albeit, you can trick rapidshare using different IPs, in most cases using some list of Proxy servers. You know what?? It's painfully slow downloading if it's one of a huge file you are trying. It's okie for some 5-10 Mb, but like 100 MB?? It's going to take forever even in high speed broadband connection because your are using Proxy servers. For now, it's the only way to cheat rapidshare that you are a fresh free user. As a free user, the upload limitation is 100 MB and also as soon as you've finished downloading 100 MB, wait another 100 minute for next download. No matter what tricks you apply, you can't download simultaneously(in parallel) as a free user.

These nagging limitation tempted me to buy their premium plan. I bought for 1 month plan paying some 11 USD(I spend over $14 for Californian Double-decker grilled chicken hamburger twice a week, I was being stingy enough to spend bucks online, I dunno why.. may be this 'FREE things on Internet' concept has so badly occupied our minds that we don't want to think differently, may be, I dunno what you guys have in your mind) using my paypal. I was given login details on next screen and I instantaneously hit 3 downloads in parallel and it was downloading using my maximum bandwidth speed. I was surprised that they've extremely fast download servers. They are not giving this access to high speed download servers to normal free users in my opinion. Along with that 1 Month plan, I got some 8000 points. After few searches, I found that If I had 10,000 points, I could use that for next extended 1 Month usage. Pretty cool. But, I can't share my Login details with my friends either(actually I wanted to but beforehand made sure searching their FAQ and they've clearly stated that they would close the account if it's used by many IPs) which is uncool thing.

If you are a free user and you've a file on their servers and if some 10,000 people download your file, you'll earn 10,000 points. And when you, as a free user, have that 10,000 points, you can have yourself a premium account. But, how would you get 10,000 people to download your file and help yourself earn 10,000 points. umm.. I would rather spend some bucks than waiting that long.

One thing that I didn't like about rapidshare is that their database is not searchable. I mean, you can't search other people's uploads and stuffs on rapidshare database. The first thing I was thinking as soon as I paid for their service was the some tools to search other rapidshare premium users content. But that's not going to happen because Rapidshare thinks it's respecting people's privacy. Whatever, I'm loving their service as a premium user.

I encourage people to buy and use their premium service rather than troubling their finger tips here and there for some useless tutorials on 'how to bypass rapidshare limitations'

USB Disk Ejector : A smart and quick alternative to windows 'Safely Remove' option

If you always hated to go through hurdles of menus and finally made to click
'Safely Remove'
or
after sometime wait to see this following message
"now safe to remove this device"

then you are reading a perfect post for you. Since, I'm letting you know how to do this in just a single click.

How sluggish and painful it is to go through all these and finally you manage to unplug your external USB devices as obediently as devotee of some holy temple where you lay yourself down. You worry to unplug those USB external devices because you fear of data loss, your fear is true. You may loose your data or you may even corrupt some files if you just don't care going through those automated process that Windows OS provides you to unplug your USB devices.
Windows can sense your USB devices, as soon as you pop in something, small windows balloon pops up letting you know that something has been inserted. After you are done, it's pretty lazy job to click 'safely remove' option.

There is a smart way to do this, a freeware tool called USB DISK EJECTOR. Works just like Windows 'Safely Remove' option but it's much more convenient to use. No matter how much external USB storage devices you insert, it's an easy access to remove them at once from one menu.

Download USB disk ejector here.
Note: Author of this program says he's still working to make it run under Windows 98.
Above Win 98, it works on all versions, even on Vista.

Nepal's Election of Constituent Assembly and SEX

These days, issues on Election of Constituent Assembly in Nepal is heating up. It's only 3-4 days left for the election. Every ethnic group and people have demanded for equal rights and opportunities and this election is the only gateway to choose their own delegates for better ruling of the country.

If I'm not wrong then there are other groups than these ethnic groups and communities... like HomoSexuals and prostitutes. Homosexuals are very few in number and disclosure of their sexuality is often rare. Even though there are very few institutions working for them, due to lack of much legal support, things are not working as expected. Their demand is to have right to marry similar sex. Even though the law never permitted this, some of the homosexual couples managed to arrange such marriages backed by support from some human rights organizations. And, that later became cover stories on news paper and tabloids.

Gay marriage in Nepal

Prostitutes want to make selling their body as a legal business but Government doesn't want to have any brothels nearby the vicinity of public residences. Does that mean, it'll be always illegal to talk about these issues when country is marching towards brand new era? I dunno.

A night in Thamel

This is Kathmandu,Nepal, inside Night Clubs. These girls are the most abused and exploited one.

Most of the tourists heading to Nepal are mostly driven to Thamel, a small busy town in Kathmandu(Nepal) which is often tagged as small 'New York' just because, people never sleep there. Night is as active as day. In fact, the night in Thamel looks beautiful than day. Some stat has often shown that couple of foreigners visit this country just for different taste on sex. Curiosity to have sex with Nepalese girl drive them here and they end up in this very popular tourist spot called Thamel(ask anyone who have visited Nepal and ask them about Thamel, I bet 99% would know and share about their experience). I'm not trying to portray this specific tourist spot 'Thamel' as some sort of hidden brothel running. But my intention is to reveal truth. There are other places in Kathmandu other than Thamel, mostly notorious cabin restaurants. Primarily it was designed to attract family customers and for their privacy, Cabin restaurants evolved. But these days, cabin restaurant are seen differently. Sex-craving men often visit the places and waitresses out there gives blowjob or sex happily(for certain price) behind the curtain of the cabin. So, that's how most of the cabin restaurants work out there, may be not all of them, but they are looked upon that way, anyway. When police raid, it's girls who will be abused. So, there is no legal stuff to save and support them. I've often heard insider news that, once they are busted, they are sexed by those police and released without any bails. I must write, not all of them may be viced but again it's the same thing, Law!!
Erotic dance in late night restaurant dancebar of Kathmandu,Nepal

This finally would take the shape of complete strip downs and in some cases, they even perform live sex on the stage which I've never heard of even in Night Clubs of developed cities.

Now a days, I often heard that girls do naked dance on night clubs, just like some strip sex clubs in worlds' developed cities. There are massage parlors flourishing day and night because they also offer sex as second service. I've met couple of foreigners saying, 'Wow, the girl called Samjhana was fantastic. You should go ...parlor (thamel) and f**k her too'. It's his luck that he wasn't busted redhanded. Because, it's still illegal to involve in sex with a prostitute out there. So, the only way is to fix date with a girl at Thamel, fix the price, take her out to some lodge and do the late night business. Both parties are happy. But the heck of a problem is our government whose moral is based upon old values and social structure is constructed in a such a way that if the society find any girl is involved into prostitution, she wouldn't be treated well. (It's sort of taboo but the same officials/police officials take service of prostitutes, damn those hypocrites.) If her day is running bad, she'll be beaten to death. These things are really strange. Because, they've right to do in rightful manner. They've even raised their voice and formed procession to pass the law , the law to make their business legitimate. But things slated down. I never forget that incident when the prostitutes did naked procession in front of minister's cabin demanding stable lodge, food and job. Their accusations would make you open-eye. According to them, all the top ministers have slept with them. If they are doing things secretly, why on earth it is taking time to legalize this issue? It's good luck of those sinisters..i mean ministers that there is no cult developing like secret-video-record outbreak else, there would be abundance of internet videos passing here and there of those pathetic hypocritic rascals. We still are not in a stage to do things that way. Technically people are still unsound and they don't really care about people's stuff aggressively.

Government owned Television Network often televised that those girls are involved into prostitution under compulsion, due to their poverty and stuff like that. But, ask me, not all of them doing this due to poverty. Some rich girls love sex, and they sex with as many guys as they like. They sex for money and fun. Some girls(just like boys) are so obsessed with sex that they take sex as their part time fun job. No worries.

My only concern is that government should slowly accept the fact and legalize this issues with times. Sex is basic necessity of any living being. Suppression on sex business is the rise on sex-related crimes. Government should come out with scientific workarounds. They could force only above 18 to enter into such areas. They could designate certain area as red-light area. There should by Women's club and Men's club. I know, lots of women who are rich, divorced or widowed are often involved into such activities. They are not just open, they don't want to. There is social restrictions. But the reality is they want studs, part time playtoy when their relation with husband/boyfriend breaks in anyway. Usually they pay big bucks to deserving cocks. They find their sex partner by going to fancy big hotels and surprisingly good looking guys often lurk places like that for customer, mature customers. This is working and it will work unnoticed. It's just not given a legal name. Their demand is if it could work legally. If they are exploited or abused, there is no law to support them.

So, a country is moving towards a huge change, there voices should be equally heard in the course of time. For now, even if they wouldn't prioritize demands like this but they should do it in later time for sure. Everyone must be given equal rights, right to live their life their way. Safe sex, Safe business.

Free Online Virus Scanners and Removers: When your Antivirus dies, these work like a charm

Have you ever felt that your antivirus has deceived you?? All of a sudden your computer starts acting weird, your connection goes damn slow and moreover it feels like you should dump your PC.

Most people have misconception that when they install Antivirus and update it regularly with the latest virus definition files, they think they are at safe hand which is not. Besides computer virus, there are other things which are not actually that destructive but could steal your informations and eat up your valuable system resources. These new genre of problems are also known as spywares, worms, etc. With that written, you should also install good firewall and anti-spywares. So, Anti-Virus software,Anti-Spywares and Firewall, the combo of these three plus little smartness of your own should provide you foolproof protection. You've to be careful though that there are some rogue anti-spywares. Read reviews of the one that you're trying to get into your computer system.

Sometimes, I chuckle myself reading stuff like worm and virus actually infecting computer systems. There are lots of jokes where computer ignorant or newbie often gets confused and ends up thinking hook worm like creatures crawling inside the box. We are ought to think if it is human virus or computer virus and we're somewhat accustomed to it. Once we became a computer literate in the course of time, we don't really bother about it. But believe me, someone who is just learning computer stuff, you'll get the same response like they getting confused between real and computer one. Don't laugh at them.

Microsoft supported ActiveX to deploy web applications for enduser benefits but wrecked souls started creating bad programs, bad ActiveX and now, people without thinking what ActiveX originally made for, have a second thought "Gosh, don't enable your ActiveX blah blah blah" . To present scenario, they are correct. We've to be very smart dealing with these web applications but I shall also mention, the same ActiveX technology is helping millions of users to get their job done. So, ActiveX is not a virus as I'm often told by people. But bad ActiveX could bring enormous trouble.

Ooops, my tendency is always like I go offroad from the main topic. If you think your computer is infested with Virus,Worms and spywares, then, thinking to run an Antivirus software or other security softwares off your computer is not a good idea. They might not work at first place, even if they managed to work, they won't be able to remove any problems. So, what could be the next step? Either you hire some tech guy and pay them $60 an hour and clean your system. Or, you could try one more thing; try to clean your computer through Online Virus Scanner and Removal tools.

So far, there are abundance of FREE Scanner but very less Removal tools, I mean they just let you know that they've found this and that but won't delete it. I've managed to grab 3 of the Online Scanners and Removal Tools which should work in most cases, they are free and should detect the worms/virus and delete them as well.

BitDefender Online Scanner
BitDefender Online Scanner is an on-demand virus scanner which incorporates the award-winning BitDefender scanning engines. You can use it to scan your system's memory, all files and drives' boot sectors, and to automatically clean infected files.

Trend Micro HouseCall 6.5
It is an application for checking whether your computer has been infected by Viruses, spyware or other malware. It performs additional security checks and allows to remove detected infections.

F-Secure Online Virus Scanner 3.0.17

So these are the free online virus scanners and removers. And eventually, you shouldn't try loading these sites on Firefox. Try loading them on Internet Explorer since it has built in support for ActiveX. Oh yeah, ActiveX, you've to have ActiveX enabled and allowed. You've to actually download those applications and let them run off your system. Regardless of your system being fully infected, these scanners should be working flawlessly untouched by the virus on your system.

Eventually, if these sites are not working on your system or say on Vista Machines, you can try the following steps. But first, try following steps like 'clicking on the Accept button on top yellow bar when you type in these site address'.

-Load Internet Explorer->Tools->Internet Options->Security Tab->select Internet->click Custom Level
-Please be sure to check that the following options are set.
Automatic Prompting for ActiveX controls: Enable
Download signed ActiveX controls: Prompt
Download unsigned ActiveX controls: Prompt
Initialize and script ActiveX controls not marked as safe: Prompt
Run ActiveX controls and plug-ins: Enable
Run ActiveX controls marked safe for scripting: Enable
Automatic prompting for file downloads: Enable
Allow Web pages to use restricted protocols for active content: Prompt
Don't prompt for client certificate section when no certificates or only one
certificate exists: Enable

Setting those options should solve any security issues you might be encountering with Internet Explorer.

Last Important words: As soon as you finish doing this stuff, revert the settings back to your previous state. Follow this guide above and undo one by one once your job is done. Leaving these settings ON is a risky job.

Some spywares or worms might go undetected. The only step left is to deal with your computer manually and I urge you to hold back and get some nearest Tech Support. Because, mingling around with Registry and other internal core windows folder without knowing what you are doing could render your system useless.

Do you have a Blogger(blogspot) Blog and do you know Google is deleting blogger blogs??

As usual, I was checking backlink tool to find some of the friends link (who has linked backed to me before) if they still have my link backlinked to me or not. Well, some of them didn't link back to me. I checked their site and the message I got upon visiting their blogspot(blogger) blog was something like "this blog has been deleted."
As I was visiting some of the other blogspot blog, I found few of them got deleted too. I thought, may be they got over blogging. Recently more and more blogspot(blogger) blogs are unavailable or being deleted. Now, these things forced me to think why those blogs are being deleted. I usually check official google blog for any kind of stuff they are upto. Their blog was shut down too(it's some days before), they are online now though. But, it's quite eerie because this very blog of mine is hosted on blogger's server too. I don't know what happened to their official blog but it's confirmed news they are deleting blogs.

Main Point: Google is intentionally deleting all those copy-cat blogs or say spam blogs. I used to think, it's just a snap to create a blogger blog. People create blogs and leave it unused. Spammers are using blogs to spam, plagiarism being even more daunting and scary part. They see wow, nice content, they copy ditto to their some other blog same information and when people search online, all result pages are filled with same repeated information. I used to think if Google doesn't think of this soon, their credibility might be at risk in near future. Now, this is the step which I didn't know but I had already expected from Google that they would do something for sure. And, they are taking necessary measures to maintain their status by weeding out all those fake blogs that they think are.

Reasons your blog might get deleted(Blogger TOS):

1. Too much advertising campaigns. You watch ..say ..50 minutes TV show and you ended up watching 60 minutes commercials in addition. Would you like that?? tell me seriously!!! You wouldn't .. So, get rid of those nasty ADs. Precisely, Get rid of p.-a|-y-p-e-r-p-o-|s-|t things from your blog.

2. If your blog is just copy-n-paste blog, then you are on their hitlist.

3. Blogger(blogspot) allows porn blogs but first read their TOS. Porn blogs are often deleted with a cause.
Google states:
PORNOGRAPHY AND OBSCENITY:

* Pornography and Obscenity: Image and video content that contains nudity, sexually graphic material, or material that is otherwise deemed explicit by Google should be made private. Otherwise, we may put such content behind an interstitial.
* Pedophilia, Incest and Bestiality: Users may not publish written, image or video content that promotes pedophilia, incest and bestiality.
* Commercial Pornography: We do not allow content that exists for the primary purpose of monetizing porn content or driving traffic to a monetized pornography site.
* Child Pornography: Google has a zero-tolerance policy against child pornography, and we will terminate and report to the appropriate authorities any user who publishes or distributes child pornography.

4. If your blog is posting copyrighted materials without permission.

5. I think you can't change the Blogspot's basic engine. I suspect if you replace their system with some other engine, you are at risk.

6. You can't have blog which promotes terrorism and DIY(Do-It-Yourself) content on such.

7. 'Made for Adsense' blogs are their main target. There are blogs, which do not use any genuine contents but what they do is just put the Adsense scripts on unethically borrowed content. Their only motivation is to earn easy money thereby making advertisers loose their cash and credible customers.

How to be safe and sound?

Avoid all those above mentioned things from doing. But, I'm not sure of my blog either. Because, I just came to know that their own official blog got deleted by mistake. Somehow, if you think that your blog got deleted and YOu think you never dishonored their TOS, then you can make a request to reclaim your blog. When they delete your blog, all your contents won't wipe out right away. It's just you can't have any control on your old blog.

Can you backup your blogger blog??

It's not an easy task but if you are determined, then you can back up your blogger (blogspot) blog in following ways:

- Send posts to be delivered right on your mail inbox everytime you publish a post.
Change your Email address where you want to receive your own posts. (dashboard->settings->email->blogsend address). This is one easy way to get your posts right on your inbox. For pictures, download them all from picasa.com. There you use the same usr/pwd as you log in to blogger.com and get all your pictures downloaded to your harddrive. It's a manual and hectic process but as I already mentioned only if you are determined.

- OR you can use Blogger Backup Utility. This utility helps you backup your all blog posts at once. Just in case you know. It backups in XML format, easier for your to automate restoring task later on.

- To restore your blog, you've to use manual effort. You can't restore all blog posts at once because, blogger has restrictions that how much posts can you make within 24 hours. And, it's not as easy as like database migration. It's much more harder than that.

Last Words,
If these restrictions are giving you a good whirl inside your liberal mind, it's time to move to new home. You can have your own host.

Why I stick to blogger??

- I'm Google's fan.
- Since Google's blogger is managed by Search Engine Giants, it's more likely to be indexed faster.
- I don't have to worry about bandwidth exceeded issues
- It's support and knowledge base is huge
- It's extremely easy and customizable.
- It's Adsense friendly
- .... it's free. (thanks Google)

That doesn't mean I'm limited to blogger engine only.
