Each of these tools possesses unique capabilities and limitations that researchers should consider when harnessing their potential. In this blog post, we will delve into the strengths and weaknesses of these AI tools, exploring how they fare in various research-related tasks such as finding papers, summarizing content, and transforming research into different outputs.

Internet Access: A Key Advantage for Google Bard and Bing

When it comes to locating academic papers, Google Bard and Bing have a distinct advantage due to their internet access. These tools can provide real-time references and links to the latest papers available. However, Chat GPT, which lacks internet access, falls short in this regard, restricting its ability to offer up-to-date research papers directly.

Summarizing PDF Content:

Summarizing PDFs presents a challenge for all three AI tools. While Chat GPT can handle text prompts effectively, it struggles when it comes to processing PDFs directly. On the other hand, Bing offers the convenience of opening PDFs in separate tabs, allowing users to access information seamlessly. Google Bard, however, encounters difficulties in comprehending large amounts of text, hindering its summarization capabilities.

Transforming Research into Outputs:

The ability to transform research into various outputs, such as press releases or blog articles, is an important aspect of AI tools. Chat GPT shines in this area, demonstrating a strong understanding of content structure and essence. It proves particularly useful in generating press releases and crafting blog posts with accuracy. While Google Bard and Bing exhibit some capabilities in this realm, they may struggle to provide precise references and adhere to specific formatting requirements.

Literature Review Headings:

For researchers seeking to generate headings for literature reviews, Bing emerges as the most reliable option. Its understanding of the format, coupled with the provision of appropriate references, sets it apart from the competition.

Selecting the Ideal AI Tool:

In conclusion, no single AI tool stands as the ultimate solution for all research tasks. Researchers must consider their specific needs and the nature of their projects. Bing's strength lies in finding references and working with PDFs, while Chat GPT excels in language-based tasks. It is advisable to combine these tools strategically, leveraging their respective strengths to achieve optimal outcomes.

By embracing the potential of AI tools and understanding their individual strengths and weaknesses, researchers can unlock new possibilities for efficient and effective research.

<!--

This article aims to shed light on this discussion, focusing on the comparison between the Galaxy A54, a mid-range phone, and the older flagship model, the Galaxy S21 Ultra.

The Galaxy A54, while having its pros, has been reported to have occasional performance stutters. This is largely attributed to Samsung's decision to switch to the Exynos chipset, which is considered inferior to the Snapdragon chip found in older flagship models. For instance, the Galaxy Note 10 Plus, equipped with a Snapdragon 855, offers smoother performance and better gaming capabilities than the A54.

When considering the cost, the Galaxy S21 Ultra, an older flagship model, is highly recommended. Its price, around $400, varies depending on the platform you choose to purchase from, such as Amazon or eBay. This is comparable to the price point of the A54, making the S21 Ultra a more valuable choice given its superior features and performance.

Contrary to popular belief, older flagship phones do receive software updates. Samsung, for example, pledges four years of major OS updates and five years of security patches. The Galaxy S21 Ultra, which launched with Android 11, is expected to receive updates up to Android 15, ensuring a long lifespan for the device.

The S21 Ultra remains a flagship phone even when compared to the latest models like the S23 Ultra. Both phones offer fast performance, beautiful displays, and support for Samsung's desktop and other flagship features like reverse wireless charging. The S21 Ultra even supports a stylus pen. Moreover, the S21 Ultra stands out as a superior gaming device compared to the A54.

In terms of camera quality, the S21 Ultra still holds its ground, offering high-quality images and fancy features like 100x zoom and 8K video recording. Side-by-side image quality comparisons with the S23 Ultra show that the S21 Ultra is still competitive.

In conclusion, when considering performance, cost, software updates, and overall features, older flagship phones like the S21 Ultra offer more value for your money compared to new mid-range models like the A54. However, opinions may vary, and it's always important to consider individual needs and preferences when choosing a smartphone.

<!--

Although the cost of the drug has not yet been disclosed by the New York pharma company.

Migraine is a neurological condition that is characterized by recurrent moderate-to-severe throbbing or pulsating headaches, usually affecting one side of the head. It can also be accompanied by other symptoms, such as nausea, vomiting, sensitivity to light or sound, and visual disturbances. Migraines can last for several hours or even days and can be triggered by various factors, such as stress, hormonal changes, certain foods or drinks, lack of sleep, and changes in weather or altitude. While there is currently no known cure for migraines, the approval of Zavzpret, based on data from a late-stage study, is welcome news for the 39 million people affected by the condition in the United States, according to the Migraine Research Foundation.

In the study, a 10mg dose of the drug was found to be more effective than a placebo in relieving migraine pain after two hours. Moreover, the spray eased symptoms within 15-30 minutes and lasted up to 48 hours after administration.

As a nasal spray with rapid drug absorption, Zavzpret offers an alternative treatment option for individuals who need pain relief and cannot take oral medications due to nausea or vomiting, enabling them to return to normal function quickly.

<!--

Over time, countless remedies have been developed to combat the unpleasant symptoms associated with this condition. However, despite the abundance of available remedies, few have been proven to be effective. Most people who have experienced a hangover know all too well the pounding headache, queasy stomach, dry mouth, and other miserable symptoms that come with it. Yet, despite the long history of hangovers, medical professionals are still unsure about their exact nature and the best course of action for treatment.

Finding relief from a hangover can often seem like an impossible task. However, there are a few tried-and-true remedies that have proven to work for most people most of the time. One of the best remedies is physical exercise, despite the fact that many hungover individuals may be loath to attempt it. Exercise helps increase blood flow, oxygenates the brain, and eliminates toxins that contribute to hangover symptoms. Additionally, consuming food can also be beneficial. In 2008, Discover Health conducted a study to determine the effectiveness of various hangover remedies. They found that water and juice are helpful, as are bananas and eggs. Greasy foods, on the other hand, did not fare as well. However, if consuming them makes you feel better, go ahead.

The hangover is an elusive adversary. Even those who know their drinking limits and have experience with alcohol may find that hangovers strike unpredictably. Similarly, remedies may work with varying efficacy, as hangovers are a complex biological phenomenon influenced by numerous factors, including physiology, the specific type of alcohol consumed, and the drinker's emotional state.

For an alternative remedy to consuming fresh fruit or juice, the healing properties of herbs can be used to help the body recover. Of the numerous herbs available, two are particularly effective as hangover remedies: milk thistle and angostura. Angostura bitters are often seen in tiny brown bottles behind most bars. They are considered a bartender's best friend and can be added to hot water, club soda, ginger ale, or lemon-lime soda to soothe stomachs and rehydrate the body. Milk thistle, also known as Silymarin, protects liver cells from toxins. Taking milk thistle capsules before a night out can protect the liver, while a second dose the next morning can help fortify the immune system, which may be taxed by a hangover.

In conclusion, hangovers remain a frustrating problem for many drinkers. While numerous remedies have been developed over the years, most have not been proven effective. However, there are a few remedies that have been found to work for most people. Regular exercise, hydration, and consuming certain foods can help alleviate hangover symptoms. Additionally, herbs such as milk thistle and angostura can provide alternative remedies to help the body recover from the effects of alcohol consumption. Ultimately, while the causes and remedies for hangovers may remain elusive, understanding how to effectively treat them can help mitigate their impact.

<!--

It belongs to the sugar alcohol family and is generally considered safe for consumption. In fact, regulatory agencies such as the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) recognize it as safe.

Personally, I find that erythritol is well-tolerated by my body and has a low glycemic index, which means it doesn't raise my blood sugar levels. Additionally, it's not fermented by oral bacteria, which reduces the risk of tooth decay.

Recently, a study was conducted on the commonly used sugar substitute erythritol to examine its effects on heart disease risk. The study found that high levels of erythritol in the blood were associated with an increased risk of major adverse cardiovascular events (MACE) such as heart attack or stroke. Further tests showed that erythritol increased blood clotting which can lead to these events. The study suggests that more research is needed to determine the long-term safety of erythritol. Source here.

Personally, will I stop using Erythritol just based on that recent research? Nope. The research is inconclusive, but the media sensationalized it. As a result, many people may have stopped using it and returned to consuming regular sugar. Overall, I believe that erythritol is a safe sugar substitute for most people when consumed in moderation. Again, it's my personal take on this and for you as my blog reader like with any food or ingredient, it's important to consult with a healthcare professional if you have any concerns about its consumption or if you have any underlying health conditions.

Also, I have noticed that erythritol is significantly sweeter than regular cane sugar, and consuming it in excessive amounts can lead to gastrointestinal problems like bloating, gas, or diarrhea. However, it is important to note that the probability of experiencing these side effects is usually less than that of other sugar alcohols like xylitol or sorbitol. I think as I stated earlier this probably applies to anything in life that consuming things in moderation is important to avoid negative side effects.

Research:

https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC4037362/

https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC8197374/

<!--

As per rumor, Microsoft is poised to showcase it's upcoming OS Windows 9 codenamed 'Threshold' pretty soon arguably this coming September. I'm still in love with my Windows 7 and had no intention to upgrade to notoriously hated Windows 8. But with Windows 9, things could change. As eyebrows have been raised and hearts racing among techies to try this new baby, I can only hope better.

Microsoft is stopping Windows 7 sale coming this October 2014 which means there will be no PC loaded with Windows 7 albeit they'll have continuing security updates till 2020, phewww. And, they've Windows 9 preview coming before that. Windows 8's shortlived fame somewhere is to blame for this release if you ask me. It was a major paradigm shift when they released Windows 8. I was equally excited being a loyal Microsoft user and a fan, but before I jumped onto it, I tried my hand on it at local Best Buy store, I was forced to like it but ended up not liking it after a while. No matter how hard I tried to embrace it, it was difficult and I knew it was going to be a big flop.

Again, as per rumor, they're bringing back START button. They're bringing back what was missed on so called revolutionary Windows 8. They had an update after Windows 8 official release though and if you wanna try your hand on it, you can grab Microsoft Windows 8.1 - Full Version at 10 large sandwich price.
Anti-malware Malwarebytes has written a detailed blog showing how these
scammers work. As I was going through some of the works of these
scammers, I was so amazed and couldn't believe that how authentic and
real their fake products look like. I mean they pose as being big
security companies offering downloads of their freewares. Had I not
looked at their URL, I would have been easily fallen prey to them.
Anyway, check this detail story here and share it if possible. Samsung Galaxy Alpha looks just normal sized smartphone with 4.7 inch frame. What set it aside from the crowd is it's octa-core processor and 13 megapixel camera. Come on, Samsung, my PC is not as powerful as your Galaxy Alpha and here you've this monster in disguise. I can turn my Galaxy Note II to full blown PC with just little adapter and extra effort tweaks. Now with these specs, am imagining PC in future being slowly superseded by these palm sized mini-PC powerhouse.

Skepticisms apart, it's really worrisome for us PC enthusiasts to see demise of PC as some news have reported--declining PC quarter sales, and soaring smartphone markets. Well, we'll see but with average-sized screen, I've no idea where you are heading when there are tough players already in the game. HTC,iPhone are coming back with vengeance this coming month. And, am sure you'll be put to rest as I don't see much glowing features on Alpha other than that CPU and camera. Rumors also have that price would be like over $700 and after carriers branding, it'll be even more expensive to own it and with ridiculously lightyear fast depreciating resale value, personally I would pass on this one.

Most of the time when I read youtube comments, I see at least few people asking for the name of the song if the youtube video they're watching has some kind of music playing in the background. Old school way, I would rather let my android phone hear the tune and let it find me the details on the song am listening to. And then comes another scenario where I just want to save the tune to my hard drive for later listening. Youtube has tons of great musics in it and I used to download video, rip music and save it for listening. That took a great deal of time and effort compared to what these sites now a days can do. I came across few sites which would let you convert any youtube video to mp3 just like that but some of them have limitation like 20 minutes blah blah blah. But, then this site http://www.listentoyoutube.com/ let me rip the whole youtube video to mp3. I couldn't believe how fast it converted the video to mp3 and presented me with a link to download mp3. Whatever is the technology behind it, I could not help sharing with you folks. Enjoy as long as it last.
Just put youtube shareable link on the site listentoyoutube.com and click GO.

the fact that I live just near by ocean where having towers is quite
challenging, getting 4G speed on T-Mobile is just praiseworthy when they're not even blowing like Verizon has been doing it for a while now.
I've seen ppl getting far far more like 50-60 megs downstream on T-mobile, those are
the luckiest fellas.. but still no complain.

I tested 4G LTE speed on Verizon Samsung Galaxy Note II vs T-Mobile Samsung Light during the peak hours.

T-Mobile is the obvious winner.
This single standard has made it possible to read and write in different languages. Every modern internet browser, software, app, PC and mobile devices come with Unicode capabilities. Devanagari, the script use for writing Nepali is naturally supported by Unicode.

While it is easy to view writing scripts of other languages, it is still not that simple to input them with the help of an English QWERTY keyboard. Sure, there are websites which allows us to type in Nepali using a Latin keyboard and then convert it to Devanagari. The converted text then should be copied and pasted where you want to use it. This method might not be convenient for everyone.

There is another method of typing which allows us to write directly in Nepali. The tool used for this is called Google Input Tools and it works in Windows. After installing Google Input Tools you will be able to type Devanagari in any software or application like MS Word for example. You don't even have to go online.

Note: Google Input Tools works in Windows 7, Vista and XP on both 32 as well as 64 bit machines.

Here is how you download and install it (on Windows 7):

Go to http://www.google.com/inputtools/windows/, check an option that says "Nepali" and click on "Download" to download Google Input Tools. The installer (InputToolsSetup.exe) is around 864 KB.

The open source nature of Android is one of the many reasons why it is so popular now. Android has seen an explosive growth of devices and users. Many manufacturers from big names like Samsung to a small manufacturer from China produce devices with Android pre-installed. The devices are not just limited to phones and tablet. These days, Android also powers gaming consoles and televisions. One of the interesting use of Android is to power dongles which allow us to run Android on our TV screens.

Most of the TV screens these days, whether they are LED, LCD or Plasma, have an HDMI port which can be used to transfer high definition audio and video. The Android Dongles also known as Android PC sticks make use of such HDMI ports to run this operating system on the big screen. It is pretty interesting even to imagine a 40 inch screen running a mobile operating system capable of running apps and games. Playing games like Angry Birds and using Facebook on the big TV screens is taking it to the next level.

We kind find many Android PC Sticks in the market. You can easily get one of these at less than 100 USDs. The PC stick that started it all was the Android MINI PC MK802 produced by a Chinese company called Rikomagic. MK802 is an Android device which looks like a USB drive. We are going to talk about this PC Stick in this post.

To run Android in your TV follow these steps:

1) Get an Android PC Stick. We got hold of this Android MINI PC MK802. Currently the product is marked at $37.45 at Amazon.

2) Power and Connect MK802 (or any other PC stick) with your TV using the mini HDMI cable that comes along with this product.

3) Connect the power cable to the wall socket to power the PC stick.

4) Select the option in your television that says to output from the connected HDMI slot.

5) You can see android booting up on your television.

It is to be noted that the MK802 is just a basic PC stick with Android 4.0 and 1.0 Ghz Processor. It is good for watching videos and movies, playing simple games like Angry Birds and using apps such as Facebook. It is not good for running apps that depend heavily upon screen tilt action as tilting your television screen won't do anything. This PC stick also requires an external 2.4 Ghz Mouse and Keyboard if you want to use their functions.

Once you get this device running you will be easily able to play video formats not supported by a TV with subtitles and use internet in your television with wifi of the PC stick. If you need higher end Android hardwares you can try the newer versions such as MK802 IV with Android 4.2, a Quad core processor and 2 GB DDR3 memory.

Working with them is a nightmare and I literally had to beg for the money that I earned. The owner 'Bryan R Sampson' is a big time crook for me when he wrote me a non-sufficient check. I found out when I cashed it at one local check cashing business. They later caught me when I tried to cash another check from different company. They understood it's not my fault and didn't charge me anything for the bounced check I presented to them but I felt guilt and shame to have worked for that company. I at least had wished they wouldn't do it to my last check.

Solar powered wireless charging seems formidable option as opposed to traditional way of wired charging. But the thing remains same. Still same hassles of looking around for charge station and stuff. We're still not heading towards the directions we are dreaming.

I always hoped that we have major breakthroughs in our everyday things, the way we do and we live.
There is this big corporate greed that comes between you as a consumer and the reliable free energy.
There have been several technologies showcased since few years in several tech expos like CES. They are still not being materialized and struggling to enter the competitive market. There are various setbacks if one is to embrace this new technology. First the transitional cost to new technology, hassles of extra panel or mat(if it gets ubiquitous one day, that's the different story) , accompanying compatible batteries and new threat which poses direct/indirect risk to human health in the form of electromagnetic radiation. And, I'm pretty much sure not all corporations are supporting it. Because they are already making big money off of current one.

Many years ago, I still remember the fuel cell technology widely advertised later on only to find it's pronto death because of it's unreliability and other risks. It's easy to pass on judgement without seeing consequences but there are some real-deal innovations and technologies which are purposely killed before it's formation because of same corporate greed. Tesla would have given us Free Electricity.. alas..
I am eagerly dreaming of solar powered self-enabled devices, well someday... Time will tell us where it will head but if you ask me personally, I don't think these so called solar powered wirless charging tables are pragmatic.

Reasons are already mentioned above. Give us self-charging devices(and of course big Corp won't let that happen, their revenue from the sale of accessories and others will plummet in no time and they don't want it) and see how people would react.

Dr. Sanduk Ruit, a Nepalese eye surgeon has been nominated for CNN Heroes 2011. He is the man who devised the cheapest eye cataract surgery making it extremely affordable even for low income It's his humanitarian instinct, he sets up camp in remote villages and service unselfishly. We're living in a world with war and corruptions sometimes we feel there is no hope and humanity, but it makes us sigh with relief that there are people like Dr. Sanduk Ruit whose unprecedented effort and altruistic behavior to help others in societies help us think there are still some humanity left on us.

CNN's annual show to recognize social workers and awarding them is indeed applaudable. Here is our chance to honor this guy one more time.

Lets vote for him, not just because I'm a Nepalese or him, but for his globally contributed philanthropic services.

I personally hope this will motivate each and one of us to be a kind and compassionate human being.

Biography

Early life and education

Ruit was born in 1955 to uneducated parents in the remote Olangchungola Pass in Taplejung District of northeast Nepal, a mountain area of Nepal so poor and remote that the nearest school was eleven days away by foot[2] However, his father, a small time businessman, placed a priority on providing education to his children, and sent Dr Ruit to St Robert’s School in Darjeeling for studies and also provided financial support in his early medical career.

Ruit's childhood dream was that of becoming a pilot during his schooldays. But knowing the death of his elder brother before his birth was due to diarrhea, and being with his younger sister when she died of tuberculosis in 1964, and suffering the loss of another younger sister of pneumonia all worked to changed his heart. "That pinched my heart and I decided to become a doctor,” the eyesight specialist stated.

In 1969 Dr Ruit received his School Leaving Certificate from Siddhartha Vanasthali School in Kathmandu, Nepal, and later was educated in India beginning in 1981 at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences, and also studied in the Netherlands, Australia and the United States, and was mentored by an Australian Professor, Dr. Fred Hollows.
Major works

In 1986, Ruit and Hollows developed a strategy to use small-incision cataract surgery (SICS) in the developing world at the community level, through the use of a low-cost intraocular lens (IOL). Dr. Ruit was the first Nepali doctor to use IOLs in cataract surgery.

However, the high cost of IOLs placed them out of reach for many poor cataract patients, and Ruit started looking for alternatives to reduce the cost of IOLs. In 1995 he devised an international standard IOL that could be produced for far less than those manufactured in developed countries. The cost of IOLs that was around US$ 100, has now been reduced to US$ 3.5.
Vision

Ruit joined with a few people who shared his vision to start the Tilganga Eye Center [3] on June 7, 1994, but due to opposition by the establishment who considered the technique too risky, they virtually operated underground for six months. His efficient model of eye care is now practiced in many parts of the world, with U.S. military surgeons being scheduled to be trained under Dr. Ruit as well.
Ruit is passionate about being able to do much good for so many people in a short time and see the results, and while the work is technically very demanding he stated that he loves microsurgery very much. Ruit also credits his wife, an ophthalmic nurse whom he married in 1987, as being a pillar of strength to him in his difficult days while pursuing his dream project of Tilganga.

Media

A National Geographic documentary Inside North Korea on Dr. Ruit's work therein was remarkable not only in being able to document his successful surgery in the highly controlled country, but the overt adulation given to Kim Jong-il by the patients as a result.

Awards

On 18 May 2007, Ruit was appointed an Honorary Officer of the Order of Australia, "for service to humanity by establishing eye care services in Nepal and surrounding countries, and for his work in teaching and training surgeons, and technical innovation".

June 2006, Dr. Ruit was awarded with the Ramon Magsaysay Award.

<!--
